Good morning. I'm posting this on Valentine's Day morning.
Utsunomiya has overcome a low of -8 degrees Celsius and is now heading towards spring.

The factory temperature is 4 degrees Celsius, cold enough to cause chilblains on my hands and feet, but it's a temperature that fruits and alcohol love. So, I'm bundling up and using hand warmers to cope, and I'm watching over the factory in its unique low-temperature state. The silent cold is actually quite nice.
There are still snowy days, but the days are getting longer and I can feel the warm sunlight.

Now, for the Whisky & Spirits Festival 2026 in Yokohama, this will be our second time exhibiting, following last year.

This event is organized by "Whisky Culture Institute."
They will be celebrating their 25th anniversary in March 2026, so congratulations to them!
When they were "Scomunken," their predecessor, I visited their Tokyo whisky tasting venue as an attendee, bought limited-edition bourbons that came to Japan (a bourbon named "Tatuche" after a mountain was delicious), took tasting seminars from Mr. Mamoru Tsuchiya, and watched outdoor festivals in Nagano, so I had opportunities to experience Scomunken's activities.

Even now as an exhibitor, their operational announcements are always thorough, and their internal and external communications are consistently reliable, which is very reassuring.
Tochigi Liqueur often participates in small markets, so this exhibition in April will be our largest domestic event.

This year, we will be operating the booth with three people: two volunteer staff (one for accounting, one for tasting) and myself from Tochigi Liqueur (tasting担当).
The number of staff will decrease depending on break schedules, but we will attend to each person without rushing, so we appreciate your patience.
That being said, I'll be standing the whole time, so if I'm alone, it's me.

At the booth, we plan to offer tastings of our top 8 liqueurs.
I'm looking forward to shaping things up, like the setup layout and printed materials, from now on...!

Many up-and-coming domestic distilleries will gather at the venue, and food trucks and long tables and chairs for eating will also be placed in a spacious area, so we hope you can leisurely enjoy the entire event.
